I'm mddlle to the right in my political views. I am a Christian. I Have a son and daughter.
I love making new friends but I prefer people with a good sense of humor and who love to laugh. I'm country bred and corn fed so consider me as the girl next door who will bake you an apple pie, chat for hours and will be here when you need me.The coffee is waiting!

Gabey, I'm deleting you at this time, but please, if you get active again, add me. :)

Hope your son is safe and you are healthy and happy. Hugs

Hey, I saw a familiar face visited my page. Are you back? You see I kept the light on for you. :)

LOOK how the pale queen of the silent night
Doth cause the ocean to attend upon her,
And he, as long as she is in his sight,
With her full tide is ready her to honor.
But when the silver waggon of the moon
Is mounted up so high he cannot follow,
The sea calls home his crystal waves to moan,
And with low ebb doth manifest his sorrow.
So you that are the sovereign of my heart
Have all my joys attending on your will;
My joys low-ebbing when you do depart,
When you return their tide my heart doth fill.
So as you come and as you do depart,
Joys ebb and flow within my tender heart.

Well, there is no new blog today. I’m making hamburgers, French fries, and Macaroni salad today. Have a great day and weekend…

I wish I could say I have been busy writing and working on the 10 plus stories I have in the works, but I’ve either been too tired or too busy doing other things. So, I’ve only managed short-short, stuff.

My heart catherization has been cancelled for the time being…I can’t afford it right now. My savings are depleted and I will not go into debt to have it done. The strain worrying how to pay for it would be greater on me than not having it done. I’ve already had nightmares and lost sleep over it. It was only after canceling the procedure that I felt at peace again.

As it is, if I take it easy and pace myself, I’m okay…it’s only when I do too much or exert myself lifting or shoveling that I have a problem. Putting my pride aside, I’ve made arrangements to have the harder tasks around the house taken care of for me. My daughter’s husbands or my 17-year-old granddaughter have agreed to do them for me.

Also, I will be slowing down a bit, and will not be online or on the computer as much. Hopefully, I will be able to recoup and manage physically until I get back into writing mode. As always, I appreciate your concern for me and thank you for being my friend. This is invaluable to me.

I’m posting my last blog for a while today; I certainly hope you like it. However, I will let you know when I post something new. My menu for today is a pork roast with mashed taters and golden pork gravy with buttered peas. Have a great day…

The temp here today is supposed to go in the 60’s and back to the 40’s tomorrow…Sheesh! I’m making Slumgullion today and posting its recipe. I hope you enjoy it and the day…

It’s my grocery-shopping day so I’ll be away for a little while. Supper today will be determined by what’s on sale. I’m posting a short humorous (I hope) item today I wrote recently…the pic with it is not one of my drawings…enjoy your day…

Well, if we had snow I’m under Doctor’s orders not to shovel it, or do any heavy lifting or anything strenuous for that matter. My medical tests from last week tests were somewhat ambiguous and inconclusive so I must have a heart catherization and possibly a stint installed. I’ll keep you posted. I’m doing potluck again today for supper for Betty and me, and I’m posting another letter to the editor I had published this week. Have a super Saturday…

Grrr…it snowed but not as bad as predicted…but it was still heavy. I will be away today for a while for my Doctor’s appointment to get my test results from last Friday. And being it’s Friday no cooking today. I’ve posted a letter I sent in to the local papers. Have a terrific day…miss you

Okay, no snow again and it promises to be warmer today…I should be so lucky. Anyway, I’m making baked pork chops with mashed taters, butternut squash, and a fresh garden salad today. I’m posting the LAST part of my first book…though I do have 5 chapters of a sequel wrote somewhere…if and I say this tentatively IF I find them and get in the mood I’ll post them. Tomorrow is ify too…I’ve been so tired out lately I only wrote letters to the editor or one page stuff…anyway, I’ll try to do something but no promises…I hope you enjoy the last part and have a wonderful day…

Well, it’s chilly out there but not freezing. I’m making strip steaks with mushroom gravy, corn, and French fries today. I’m posting part 29 of my first book. I hope you like it and that your Wednesday will be wonderful…

Oh joy! We almost had record lows last night…brrrr! I’m making crockpot chicken legs with taters, baby carrots, sweet onions and celery today…I’m also posting part 28 of my first book…please enjoy it and the day…

Oh boy…we were warned about the bright sunshine today…but the temps won’t improve…oh well. I’m making barbecue pulled pork sandwiches with a fresh egg and potato salad today with a side dish of green beans today. I’m also posting part 27 of my first book. I hope you enjoy it and have a marvy Monday…

Well, because I’ve learned that Easter is a transliteration of Ishtar, a pagan goddess, and the rites of spring celebrated to her…I will instead wish you a Joyous Celebration of the Lord’s Resurrection, instead of a Happy Easter! I’ll be going to my oldest daughter’s later on and have ham dinner there. I’m posting part 26 of my first book…I hope you enjoy it and the day…

Okay, I’m not totally with it this morning…still messed up from the medical tests yesterday…wow was that ever painful…I hope I don’t ever have to do that test again. Today is potluck again for supper and I hope I got my 25th part of my book posted right…it took a couple of tries to edit it correctly…the first time I left out some important stuff…hopefully it’s all there now…I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful day.

It’s not snowing…but it’s damp chilly out there and the winds are supposed to pick up severely today…at least I don’t have to shovel the wind. I’m making deep fried chicken legs with French fries and baked beans with honey today. I’m also posting part 23 of my first book and as usual I hope you enjoy it and that you have a spectaculadiculous day…come out come out wherever you are!

Don't know if you're able to see this stuff or not. But haven't forgotten you. Praying that your son is okay and you are at peace with him being away. I know it's gotta be hard.
